The Kailua Boys Basketball team qualified for the HHSAA State Basketball Tournament. They take on Punahou Monday, 6:30, at Punahou. Come on out and Cheer on our Surfriders! #bleedblue

Their project to upgrade the coffee cart was chosen! Thank you @awesomefoundationofoahu for choosing their project and letting us show you the awesome things our Coffee Crew is doing.

Thank you to Keahulani Kam from Sheraton Waikiki for inviting us to participate in their annual Groundhog Day event on 2/2. Our students were able to tour the beautiful Sheraton Moana and speak with various department heads about what they look for in their employees. A great learning opportunity for our students!

Thank you to M. Waialeale Sarsona (Kamehameha Schools), Jody Shiroma (PBS Hawaiʻi) and Jalene Kanani Hitzeman (NOHO HOME by Jalene Kanani) for being apart of our Career Insights Event on 2/1. They shared stories which revolved around themes such as flexibility, community, teamwork, resilience, perseverance, and determination. A huge shout out to Blaine Kahoonei for helping to coordinate this event as well as Anne Higashi, Friends of Kailua, for sponsoring the delicious bentos from Food Company.

Hawaii Dental Association Foundation Presents, "Give Kids A Smile Hawaii 2024" on Saturday, February 24 from 9am to 1pm offering FREE Keiki Dental Services at the Waikiki Health Makiki Clinic. Fun Activities, Education and Giveaways are also planned. Please see the flyer for all the details!

The boys' basketball team has clinched a state playoff berth AND OIA semifinal game vs. Leilehua Mules. Drive over the Pali to McKinley High School and cheer on the Surfriders on Monday, February 12 at 5:30pm. The game will also be on OC16 so tune in! Let's goooo! #bleedblue!
