The Kailua High School registrar’s office and counseling staff are excited to welcome our students back this year. For questions regarding your school schedule please contact the appropriate counselor. The best way to contact us would be through email.

The Hawai'i State Department of Education is continuing its efforts to provide subsidized county bus passes for high school students grades 9-12 statewide with some additional restrictions. The EXPRESS program will continue for school year 2024-2025 with modifications to include the transportation eligibility requirements. Please read.

Three positions are available! $20 an hour, 19 hours per week. See Principal Maeda ASAP if interested! Must be 16 or older and enrolled at KHS this and next school year.

Conditioning will start in September for all players interested in girls' basketball and not playing a fall sport. Please come to a meeting on 09/03/24 (Tuesday) at 4:00 pm in front of the gym to get the paperwork needed to participate. - Coach John Iwashita.

Do you care about keiki and are ready to lead your community? The Hawaiʻi Parent Leadership Training Institute is a free training program that gives people the tools they need to create change in their communities. Learning from experienced trainers, participants gain leadership and advocacy skills and become skilled agents of change for the next generation. If you would like to learn more or apply by August 31, please refer to the flyer.

Kailua High School has joined Mokapu Elementary School as one of two Kailua Kalaheo Complex Area schools to earn a Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation. RAMP recognizes schools committed to delivering counseling programs aligned with the American School Counselors' Association National Model® framework. RAMP designation demonstrates to administrators, school boards, families, and the community at large that the schools are committed to supporting the mission of the school and district. College and Career Counselor Dawn Fraser and Lead School Counselor Kalei Pasion traveled to the ASCA National Conference to receive our award.
